Media and Information Literacy
"Introduction"

In this short span of time I learned a lot about this topic, and looking forward for the next wisdom adventures to happen. That would be fun and exciting to learn new things on that specific subject. Furthermore I will put down here what I learned and understand the lessons.

Media and Information Literacy is a vital for encouraging fair access to data and learning and advancing free, autonomous and pluralistic media and data frameworks. Media it self  plural form is "Medium" which means the way, the channel or the avenue of where is the data of information is finely distributed in evenly just a second in all parts of the world, one of the communication tools in media is namely Internet, television, radio,news paper and magazines . Information is simply define as any thing that gives meaning or an information by simply in a form of symbol, body language, road signs, music, written form, even emoticons and etc. By all means the two words is merely important to learn and to be literate of that certain filled, so that we can have all sorts of data, learning, news, and etc. to know whats happening to our surroundings all over the word and not to be foolish person that is, lacked of information learned.

To better understand well the topic, I break down the topic into separated words to describe each of it. First is, answering the question, what is media literacy, base on factual informations  it is the capacity to peruse, investigate, evaluate,and created correspondence in assortment of media shapes. Another thing is the information literacy, it is the ability to recognize when information, is needed and to locate, evaluate, effectively use and communicate information in its various format. and lastly technology/digital literacy, is the capacity to utilize computerized innovation, specialized apparatuses and system to find assess and make informations.

Along with Media and Information Literacy, is the vital topic about what is communication  all about. To define what is Communication, is, it is the act or the process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to express or exchange information or to express your ideas, thoughts, feeling, etc. to someone else. which simply means exchanging of information's and the expression of feelings that can result in understanding. Anything can be a communication as long as you both understand each other.

Communication has two basic types and that is Non verbal communication and verbal communication. In non verbal communication, it deals with signs, symbols, colors, gestures, body language, facial expression and etc. Moreover, In verbal communication, is oral and written form.

Communication has process, and there are lots of process where modified and establish by the famous researchers. All in all there are 4 identified process of  communication such as. Transmission Model, Reception Model, Publicity Model, and Ritual or Expressive Model. Transmission models, such as, The principal real model for correspondence came in 1949 by Claude Elwood Shannon and Warren Weaver for Bell Laboratories. Following the essential idea, correspondence is the way toward sending and accepting messages or exchanging data from one section (sender) to another (collector). which is there is two way process, that has sender next is encoder, next is channel which can be affected by the different factors of noise, next is reception or the decoder, next to the receiver and lastly the feedback given by the receiver to the sender. Another transmission model is from Lasswell's communication model, where there's no feedback from the audience, also called one way process. Moreover, Westly and Maclean's of communication (1960) is also a transmission model. Aside from the transmission model of communication, there is also another model and that is Reception model, The cited example of this model is from Osgood-schramm model of communication in the year 1957. Moreover, Another cited information is the Berbs SMCR model of communication (1960). Further more the Publicity model, who's the audience as "spectators". for example an advertisements. lastly is Ritual or Expressive model, ia also transmission model,it is for te group of peoples beliefs and practices among their religion.

Along with the topic about Communication, there are 10 levels of intimacy in today's communication. Namely, the 10th level is talking, next is phone, letter, IM (Instant Messaging), text message,email,facebook message and finally making the 1st level is twitter.
